I got the same phone call twice today it's a scam. First of all if I owed the IRS any money they wouldn't be calling they would send a letter in the mail. 2nd "Steve Martin" who this person claimed to be says in his message "this message is intended for you" ummm how many companies do you know addresses the person they're calling with "this message is intended for you" so don't freak out if you get a call it's A FREE

I just received this call today 12/8/14.

Claimed that we owed the IRS money and that a Warrant was issued for arrest. Provided a false ID number of 110706 and provided directions on how to provide payment. Verified through IRS that no money was owed; called the 786-462-5321 number back and was just hung up on. Do not trust anything coming from this number.

Got two calls from Steve Martin. Called back and talk with Fiona, ID # 18509. Said I owed IRS $3,598.00 and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. When I asked questions, she didn't seem to comprehend what I was asking. Then she hung up when I said I would wait to see what happens next.
