A message left on my mother's voicmail, called back and talked to a "Steve Martin" who basically stated "She had committed some unspecified offenses and that I would have to appear before a "magistrate judge" or a grand jury. Otherwise there would be some kind of "enforcement action" by the U.S. Treasury." Went on to say she owed back taxes for a couple of years, and if she didn't take care of it today, with him on the phone, the police would be there within half hour with warrant for arrest. Fortunately my mother is still young enough to have her wits about her, and caught on. Tried to find out what all info they have on her, which consisted of name, address and home #. The "Steve Martin" even tried to convince her that she needed to go to Kroger to get a money order for $5,000 today to take care of this issue!!! (LOL!!! seriously!) I just pray that these idiots don't catch a vulnerable person over the phone. We're reporting this to the authorities, but doubt that will do anything
