When you call back they refuse to identify who or what they are - legit company would not have problem with this - usually they answer like the are waiting for their mama to call wanting a ride to the store since it's food stamp Monday.
You say you are calling back about voicemail you got it takes them a few min to put the scam act horse and pony together. Also calls from 978-712-4682 and 404-537-1391

this is the same number that called me and left a message about some fraudulent case that was filed against me. So I called the number back and some woman answered verified my name and my phone number and I said yes that's me and that's my phone number and she went on about the fraud case. I told her to stop calling me with this bullshit scam they're to pull and I hang up!!

This person call on the job stated the same thing you just stated. Why do people like to scam people and state they are from a collection agency. They never ask of the person they are looking for so you don't know if they are for real or not.

Extortion/Identity theft scam. If you get a call from 7704009248, report them to the FCC at www.FCC.gov and to your local police for fraud. They called my cell, falsely accused me of defaulting on an internet payday loan. Had all my information. Said they would send the debt info to the states attorneys office for prosecution if I didn't pay. Sent me an e-mail from Perry Marino and Associates, 3379 Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30326 again threatening me. I sent them a cease and desist letter with my FCC complaint number.

Man with deep voice and Southern drawl. Left message my name and/or social security number is under investigation. I tried returning call, mailbox full. Sometimes when I return this type of call, either it's a disconnected number or need a metroPCS calling card. SCAMMERS thank you technology for call blocking. Have blocked almost 100 calls this month.

same as all the other calls about a fraudulent claim made against my name or SS#. These exact same calls have been coming from 5 or 6 different phone numbers and it appears this is the new phone number. Most calls are coming from Georgia. Not really sure why.
