The caller has called me in the past. The first time she called me she stated that she was trying to push papers through for me and trying to prevent me having to go to court. I asked her what it was that I was going to court for. She stated that it was nothing serious and that it was probably just a traffic violation. She asked if I could write down a telephone number and I said no that I was driving. She then asked if she could call my phone back and leave a message with the phone number. I said sure. She called back 25 minutes later and didn't leave a message. I called the number back and it was disconnected. I called the county court in which the call came from according to my caller id. I talked to a lady and told her this story. She quickly said this sounds like a scam. I said yea I thought so as well. She assured me that if there were an issue they wouldn't have a 3rd party call for info. So a month or so goes by and I receive a call from the same number. Knowing this is now a scam I decided to have a little fun with her. Of course it was the same name (Kelly). She stated that she was calling from the county and that she was trying to push papers through and gave my name. I asked what county? Then she claimed that she was working for the state. I said wait, which is it? Is it the county or the state? She then got very defensive and started raising her voice. As I was getting ready to tell her that I had already contacted the authorities in that county and found out it was a scam she hung up. She has also called my fiancés phone. Not sure if she is trying the same scam on her or if she's trying to get information out of her. The only thing I can connect to this is I filled out a credit app and put my fiancé down as a reference. There were 2 others I put down and neither of them have received a call.

One more thing, When I tried to call the number back it was disconnected. That was my first clue that it was a scam, but still wanted to make sure.
