A friend of mine received a call from this number and they told him that I was going to be sued, and that court action was being taken against me.
Isnt this against the law? I myself have not received any calls or correspondence from them. I called the number and got voicemail, have not received a call back...I DID tell them that what they were doing was against the law and not to harrass my friends ever again.....I assume it is a scam!!

I have previously posted about this number. It is Reliance Air Duct and Carpet Care, not Reliance Home Care. I have reported them to the Texas PUC and the FTC for violation of the Do Not Call List and violating the telemarketing regs for calling after 9:00 p.m. I finally contacted my local police department and made an informational complaint because the person they were asking for at our house would have been over 75 years old. Previously the callers had given me a bogus local phone number and address. I was also concerned that the people kept saying my address like they would come see me sometime. Here' the SCOOP

I WENT ON THE WEB PAGE AND SENT AN EMAIL TO THEM TELLING THEM WHO ALL I HAD REPORTED THEM TO. I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME. ALSO I ENCOURAGE YOU TO FILE A REPORT ON THE FEDERAL AND STATE DO NOT CALL LIST COMPLAINT FORMS. IT IS EASY TO DO ONLINE.
The people who have called me speak such broken English, up to now I thought the company was Reliant or Alliance. The "home care" part of the name they use on the phone is nowhere to be found. I think it is to put roadblocks in for people who try to report them

This is a marketing call from the Strib.
I suggest everyone do as I did.
1) called Strib and complained
2) filled a report with the Federal Trade Commision asking for an investigation by law enforcement of both Verawest and the Strib
3) called Strib and St.Paul Press and Kare11 tip lines to inform them of a story about the Strib being investigated by Law Enforcement after many consumer complaints to the FTC on there repeated violation of the Do Not Call laws
Do the same confront them don't let it pass or they won't stop.

After a week of 2 calls a day I finally answered. "Toni" said she was calling with a "delivery notification." She went on about the Star Tribune sending out a new product to its suscribers in september. She then went on to ask if I was a current subscriber. I told her I was not interested and to add me to the company's "Do Not Call List." She was polite about it said that she would (although it sounded like she was eating something while she was talking to me). So far, no calls. I have never done business with the Star Tribune and my number is on the National do not call list so I have no idea why they started calling me. I recorded my conversation with her so if they call back I'm filing a complaint.

They're calling a family member! Saying I owe $305.00 from a payday loan from 2004. I'm pretty sure payday loan would have called me or send something in the mail..
