Trulia.com is a company that amalgamates real estate information from many MLS (Multiple Listing Service) sources and provides it to the public. They frequently make cold calls to agents to sell them "premium" services to enhance their listings. They pretend to be "just checking on the data" to get your ear, then comes the sales pitch. If you don't want what they are selling, they may become quite defensive: "I'm only trying to help!" If you are an agent, and get one of these calls, it's up to you whether their services are worth the money, but you will never get any refunds and they offer no guarantees.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRULIA! They will SCAM you with their advertising to lure you in about getting viable leads and when the viable leads don't happen and you call to complain, they will tell you that they don't guarantee anything (which is the reason they try to hold you to a 6 month commitment). I had to block them charging me on my cc card that I authorized them to use, then, they started using my debit card that I had originally used over a year ago and told them to stop using, just use the cc. They had no authorization to clear my bank account and result in 4 NSFs. When I called them over 10 time so get this cancelled before any more charges were made, they said they would cancel in April, so no May charges would be on my cc. Well, lo and behold, there they were, charges for May! Thank goodness I had blocked them from the cc and thought it was a done deal until they used my debit card without my authorization.
DO NOT USE TRULIA, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY WILL BLEED YOU DRY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING VIABLE IN RETURN.
