This guy did same exact thing to me on CL ad for furniture I was selling. Using 713-714-1997 number now but same name and place he works and rural area and surprise etc.

This person responded to my Craigslist ad saying the same thing as others have posted- that it was a surprise for someone, he was working in a rural area and could put the money in PayPal then have someone pick it up.
I almost fell for it. I was cautious (something didn't feel right) and searched his name. So glad I did!!!

"Sharon" who supposedly works for "Turner Construction" wanted to buy something of mine from Craigslist. She was messaging me from this number and said she couldn't call because she was working in a remote area and didn't have reception. She also sent me fake emails from PayPal to say that she had transferred money to cover the item and cost of a mover, and wanted me to pay her removal guy by sending money via Western Union. Um, not happening.
