I also received a call from these scum bags. first I received a message from a John Spencer and then when I finally reached some one it was Scott Majors. He tried to threaten me with a subpoena and warranty. They not knowing my back ground that I worked in the legal field and no that there should have been a complaint first and then I have to opportunity to respond to the complaint. When I told Scott Majors this and asked to be faxed a copy of the arbitration complaint he became very belligerent with me yelling and telling me I did know what I was talking about and then hung up the phone and would not answer the phone. So you just have to be careful when people are calling and telling you that you are going to be arrested remember there have had to been a complaint filed first and you get a copy of the complaint and a chance to file an answer.

I just got a call last night from this John Spencer message and when i called it back some guy named Wallace answered the phone I gave him the reference number that was left in the message and he said I owe money that this account didn't go into my bankruptcy. He had my social so I quickly got lifelock and will be calling my bankruptcy attorney so he can look into it because I believe that I've been discharged it's against the law to contact me again.

Hi, how did you get your money back? I fell for this scam a couple of weeks ago but from a guy named Scott Majors with Arbitration Resolution. I've filed complaints with the AG's in Florida and Texas and with the Consumer Financial Protection Acengy, but I don't know what my options are.

I just now got a call. In the past this has happened to me and I learned a very valuable lesson. I used to owe some places some money but they call have been paid off. So when I received a call about a year ago it freaked me out and I paid. (Thankfully I got my money back) I actually work for a collection company so if they threaten to contact your job and say you will get fired..asked the FDCPA means. Because NO collection company call say that. They called me just now from phone # 702-357-9775

Well, they are still using the name "arbitration resolution" with the same old john spencer calling with the same old threats. They have also used 713 904-1618 and 713 904-1618. Both numbers are now blocked.

Just another scam debt collector, this time from a john spencer at 713 904-1618. Message says they are "arbitration resolution" but apparently they also go by "ars national services" and "legal outsourcing". Three different names, a sure sigh of a scam outfit. Usual message left about legal action being filed in my County if issue not resolved within 48 hours. They said to call back at 888 278-8565. I hope they hold their breath waiting.

I got my money back!
I filled a complaint with the better business bureau in Atlanta against Universal Debt and Payment Solutions (the payment processing company for Arbitration Resolution and Scott Majors) Atlanta is where Universal Debt is based btw. In my complaint I stated that I either wanted my money back or I wanted to be provided with proof that Scott Majors had legal rights to collect on the original debt. Universal Debt's response to the complaint was that they "refunded [my] money..." (and they did) "even though [I] still owed the debt". They still couldn't prove that they had rights to collect, but atleast I have my money back!!
