I just got this text from that number, and after a short dialogue via IM, my alarm bells went off. Something about classes for his daughters. I'm too wary. I told him no we were not able to help him.
Kind of a sophisticated scam. He also sent an email out to us, so they must be trolling sites here and there.

Texted me was hearing impaired. Need from vegas. Wanted lessons and specifically asked how and if I take credit cards. Got back to me like a person would via text. I asked for the names of the students for lessons and they don't exist. I checked for them on fb and nothing for any of them, especially not in my area. He also doesn't exist. He never answered how he heard of me.

I got the same story - looking for private tai chi lessons for his daughters. Said he's hearing impaired. Asked if I accepted credit cards. Said his daughters would arrive with their private van driver. I wonder how this scam would have played out.
