I also got a text message requesting that I call the number... based on this discussion, I'm not going to even call it.

Got a text message from this same number claiming to be bank of america. How exactly do you run a virus scan on an iPhone?

I had this message also. I called Wells Fargo and was instructed to forward the text to their email at reportphish@wellsfargo.com. She then advised me to delete the message and run a virus scan on my phone.

Text message on my phone read Important message from WF Bank. Your credit card may have been compromised and you card has been disabled. Call 706 621 7960.
I called the number: Automated message said Press 1 for more information, ( I did not press 1. Next it asked for my FULL social security number.. I hung up. NOTE: I had a Wells Fargo Debit card a couple years ago but that card was cancelled and I have no accounts with them.
