We received a text from the same person wanting to buy a $52,000 piece of equipment with almost no questions asked. Told us he had to pay via PayPal since he was on a base in Florida. We were suspicious and were happy to find this website. We have notified him and will be reporting him to Paypal.

I was selling a boat on craigslist. He texts that he wants to buy the boat, but he says he lives in Panama City, FL and wants to buy it via Paypal. I request his name and email address. He texts back his name is Will Rick, and email willrick.1@gmail.com
I look his email up online and see that he has tried to buy on Craigslist before using Paypal and it was a scam. Did not send him any further information.

Phone number rolls to message saying "The textmail subscriber is not available." Contacts you via SMS text message (poor English) and agrees to buy your item. I sent invoice to his email: willrick.1@gmail.com and I got fake PayPal emails saying to click on links and complete the transaction outside of PayPal. 2nd email says transaction was suspended and I should wire money to free it up. Total scammer.
