I recieved a call today from this number and the lady stated she was from "windows technical company". I asked her to hold on a minute and I turned on my recorder and let her know that from this point on the phone call was being recorded. She seemed alright at being recorded and went on to tell me that my windows computer was sending their technical department many error messages. I told her that I have more than one windows computer and asked her to tell me the IP address of the infected computer. She started again to tell me that the computer that was connected to the internet was the problem. I told her I have many machine hooked up to the internet and again asked her for the IP address. She then started to tell me my infected computer's IP address was 8888A0..., I then interupted her and told her that if she didn't know what an IP address was shedidn't work for any legitimate technical company and was just trying to scam me into letting her infect my computer and hold it hostage until I paid her whatever her fee was to "fix" my computer. She immediately hung up.
