Just received call from a man of middle eastern accent whom I could not clearly understand. Stated something about my computer. Repeatedly asked if I was the owner of my phone #. Asked if I was a name I can not pronounce. I was not nice and he hung up.

Have had numerous call from this number. It is a man with an eastern accent. He always ask for my husband. I had decided not to answer the phone but he was at the point of harassing when I decided to answer my phone. He is very hard to understand and talks very fast and he hangs up before I have a chance to get him to repeat the info. Please somebody help with this irritation! I tried to call him back and received a recording of the hours open and I have been well within the time open but they say they they are closed. The number I called was on caller ID. They gave no company name.

Just now got a call from this number. On the other end was what sounded like a person from India who related he was from "Auto Care". I could not understand his name nor did I bother asking him to repeat it. I immediately stated that my number was "on the Do Not Call Registry in the UNITED STATES." He immediately without haste apologized and hung up. Happened during dinner hour of course.

Man left voice mail about an Indiana something card that he said some fraudulent charges on this card. The only Indiana card I have was for unemployment and it has not had money on it since Dec. 2013. As the message went on, he talked faster and faster and he was not an English speaking man. I am not calling back because I do not have any cards that he was talking about !! I think it's a scam of some sort, so he can call somebody else, cause he will not get any info from me !!! Just a suggestion that I have always followed is to never give your social security number to anyone that you don't have a clue who they are. So many scammers out there !!!!

Indian lady with a strong accent called asking for the previous owner of my phone number and I told her I did not know a Tobias Jones and she kept saying that I did and started to argue with me. I told her that I did not sounds like a guy and does Tobias sound like a girls name. I finally hung up and she called back 12 times within a 5 minute time frame and then 3 times about an hour afterwards. I never answered any of those calls because I know it is against the law to do that. That is considered harassment.

I got a call from this number and they called again and it showed up on my phone as emergency number 911! I called them back and got hung up on four times! They said there was a law suit on my social security number and I said can you tell me what that social security number is? and they said oh sure, and put me on hold then hung up. Another guy asked my first name which I gave and then for my last name which I declined until he gave me information on what company I was speaking to, and I got hung up on. Lovely for them to fake the 911 cause I can't block that out on my cell! evil!!!

These type of collection agencies love to harass you by scaring you that court papers are on the way if you don't pay the loan. They want you to pay them directly so they can get their commission for the call. Just ask them to mail the papers to you so you can talk to your attorney about the situation, and believe me they will quit bugging you.
