Call has recorded message that this is the last chance to lower credit card rate, that I have ignored multiple messages at home. If I want to lower my card rate, press 1. When I pressed it, the guy came on and asked whether I pressed 1 to lower my rates. They then ask what my credit card balances are and how many cards I have. They claim to be able to lower all card rates to 6%, but first need to verify if my card is eligible. I asked their name and if they are related to my card company, he said they are "Leading Edge". He then asked for my c card number.

I've been receiving calls from this number for 2 days. Each time the caller is a Middle Eastern man with a very thick accent. He does not indentify himself. He starts the call with spewing curses words, threatening my life, and stating that he will continue to call me "1000 times" if he feels like it. I have asked for him to stop calling me, but to no avail. I can get up to 10 calls in a 5-7 minute time span. When the caller leaves a voicemail it starts off with saying to "wait for his call again", and with a curse word. Please help!

I have advised that there is not a Joseph that owns my phone # and have asked repeatedly that the number be taken off their calling list. i have even called the number back and once received a recording stating "you have reached customer service, we are unavailable, please leave a message". I left a message which wasn't very nice and these idiots still keep calling and harassing me. When I have asked what the nature of the call is, they respond it is about a magazine subscription that Joseph supposedly took out. I have warned them that if they keep calling, I will find out what company they are representing and report them to the BBB but that still hasn't stopped the calls. These people need to be stopped immediately!

these people called me today ( July,22,2009) just before i left to go see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. this is another one of the numbers that calls you trying to get you to put a free secerty system/ sign in your yard. this company is a SCAM!!!.I have a voicemail greating from Youmail that i set for telamarketers to take me off their calling list and that if they keep calling me, i have the right to hall their ass down to jail. however, they continue to keep calling, despite the warnings i gave them. as i mentioned on another post to CallHunter, ( i realy dont know if it works or not) but i herd the best thing you can do is when these numbers call you, if you say helo and find nobody on the other end you can be shure that it is one of the computers that telamarketers use to call you and find what time you answer the phone. the trick i learned is when these numbers call you, push send, say helo and as soon as you realize that there is nobody on the other end, repeatly push the # or * symbol on your phone/Cell phone. like i said i dont know if this works or not but by repeatly pushing # or *, you are messing up the telamarkers computer system by sending them the number they called is not a real number/ or number disconected message, and your number gets automactly kicked off the company,s/telamarketer,s list. if the repeatly pushing # or * does not work, my next trick will be to try the Jerry Stinefild trick. for those of you that dont know the Jerry Stinefild trick, it goes as fallows

I spoke to an Indian man for 15 minute and he was telling me my window computer was being hacked and that I needed to follow his instructions to stop if I didn't I would get in trouble in the future.. I told him I didn't have any problems and asked him why I was getting this call. He wasn't talking to me politely and was responding very rudely. I hung up he called me 3 times more and has now stopped.... If you get a call from this number for the same reason unite it because I THINK they just want to scam me by making me buy and/or install an anti virus software or something which will probably damage my computer more than it was in the first place. And I only just brought this computer!!!
