Transferred me to a case worker. Case worker named Matthew McGregor who gave me a case number. Stated I owe and a bench warrant was going to be issued today if I don't pay $1,000. When I stated I was confused and would have an attorney call on my behalf he stated why make things worse, then proceeded to tell me that I better make sure someone picks up my kids because I will be arrested by the afternoon on felony charges. Really?

The caller stated I have a case out of the state attorneys office in my jurisdiction and named my county and 210-556-1747 and stated that I have numerous complaints and gave me a case number. I asked for the name of the company, and she state the Fraud and Economic Unit. I said What company? She said they are corporate attorneys, so I asked for their names and she said she didn't like my tone and said she will file a case against me.

I just got a crazy voice-mail message left for my dad threatening legal action and such. it scared him and unfortunately he's elderly and just recently had a stroke. these people are horrible and should be investigate. I'm not sure how they got his name and/or phone number.

Okay my daughter in law and myself just got the same type of call referring to my son.It was from Catherine Warner 210-556-1991. When I called back and told him I was a relative and wanted more information she transferred me to some rude guy I could hardily understand.He told me it was to late and that a warrant was filed and he would be going to jail today. Really??

I also just got a phone call from Miranda Clark from the Fraud economic complaint unit @ 619-226-5172 stating there was an aggrivated complaint against me with a case # and to have me or my lawyer contact her immediately for the jurisdiction I'm in (but doesn't state which jurisdiction) SCAM!

I got the same call but from a Texas number it has me very scared told me I have til tomorrow to pay 300/400 bucks to them she said she was with fraud and economic complaint unit. # she called from is 281-786-4473

I got a call today from a woman named Marilyn Lloyd . She said I was going to have a warrant out on me for a payday loan from 3 years ago. I have not ever had a payday loan in my life and when I stated that she got very angry and said that I would be arrested. She said I had to have it paid today by 3:00 and when I spoke to her it was 2:15. She said to borrow, plead, beg or even steal the money if I had too. When I started to ask her questions about it she got in her angry voice telling me how much trouble I was going to get into if I didn't send her the money today. The phone number she used is 512-582-2484.

I had got a call from a Miranda Clark from the Fraud economic complaint unit @ 713-422-2605 Letting me know i had a claim against me and I needed to call back before anything else happens..SCAM ... I'm not calling them back..I looked up info on the name and found everyone's story..

Thomas Wells and Crystal Newman called my granddaughter from 916-226-5159, claimed to be from the fraud and economic complaint unit for the office of investigations...did not say WHICH office. I called them back...told them they will be hearing from FTC, State Attorney and FBI. They hung up on me. SCAMMERS! THIS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY!

Person that called me was Lydia White #210-704-1221. I got the impression she was a police officer because she said she had a warrant for me for a bad check I supposedly wrote to a cash advance place several years ago. If I didn't resolve the debt of $1000+ immediately I would be arrested, be in jail for 3_months before court, then I could be in prison for 3 years. I told her I could make payments starting next week. She said she would put my paperwork on the bottom of the stack to give me some time but to call her back next week prepared to make payment. I called my attorney, clerk of court, police department, sheriff's department.... They told me it was a scam. Sheriff said if he had a warrant for me that he wasn't going to call me ahead of time. And they don't take payments over the phone to prevent arrests. I am looking forward to my call with Lydia next week so I can get an address to send her some play money.....

I got a call yesterday from this lady who went by the name of Marilyn Lloyd. She stated that I was going to have a warrant put out for my arrest for a pay day loan from 2009 unless I payed with a blue and white money gram form stating that it had to be the blue and white one because it was the the safest way to make the payment. She said that I had to have it paid by 5:00pm today 12/4/2015. At first I believed her but then I started looking online and everything I pulled up was SCAM SCAM. This lady called me at least 5 times today to see if I was going to send the money. I finally got angry because I have a young child I'm only 26 years old and they are talking about felony charges that would none the less ruin my entire life and I've never been in trouble. So when she called back around 4:30 this evening I started asking questions and all she could tell me was how much trouble I was going to get into if I didn't pay. I went to the police and I also filed a report with someone who documents fraud to help other people. The phone number she used is 281-786-4026

I got the same call this morning from a Thomas Wells saying that he was going to put the warrant through on Friday but wanted to try one last time to give me a chance. When I begin asking him what company he works for he began getting upset, then stated he was going to just put the warrant through.
