"Polio" Recovery: they call all the time! They ask "by my first name?", I say "why?" They say "What do you mean why?" I say "you called me?" They say "Is this name?" I say "why?" They say "I have an important message!" I say "who are you?" They are so stupid that say "their name." I say "who do you represent?" They either say, "I'll call back!" ( sometimes I say I'll be waiting for you tomorrow) or if they say "I'm with Portfolio Recovery!" If they say "I'm with Portfolio Recovery!" I say "Polio Recovery?" They say "no, Portfolio Recovery!" (now they are pissed) I say "why would anyone want to talk to Portfolio Recovery" and hang up! Sometimes they call the next day, sometimes they don't call for a few days. I guess that they are keeping a record on me? Try this! This pisses them off! I'm retired, I wait for them everyday! :-)

they call 1 to 2 times a week from one of 11 different phone #'s .... trying to collect a credit card debt that was "charged-off" 11 years ago, i tell them to come and file a law suite against me .... i wish they would, i'd be rich ..... btw the card was charged-off because they would not settle for 80% of the charges ..... stupid company

BEWARE!! Do not try to appease these crooks by promising to pay. They will try to trick you into saying this. If you do, this will reset the clock on the statue of limitations for collecting ANY PAST DUE DEBT even if it has been over 10 years. Legally they will be able to proceed with garnishment and debt collection. Share this info!!!

This number, my number 321-508-6243 is registered with Do Not Call list. Have recieved multiple calls from 866-940-7640 and have spoken w/ someone and explained this is not the person they are trying to reach and to stop calling.

Caller asked for my husband, said he owes a $500 debt from an internet service provider a couple of years ago. I told caller I'll just relay him the message. When my husband came home, he knew nothing about that debt. Said it's just a bogus call and don't fall for anything they say.
