I would hope nobody would fall for a scam like this. I would think that a certified letter would preceed any call and a real call would be by a human. It didn't even give a contact name or know who I was or if I was the right person on the other end......

It was a robot recording and they did not ask for a name or address or any person. Just said that it was IRS and that they were filing a law suit against us.
When I called back they said it was the IRS and ask if they were speaking to (used my nickname not my real name). I said that she was not here could I help them. Then they said they could only talk to my nickname and hung up.
