I answered the call it was a robot call that gave you no options but to take their survey by answering questions. I entered 0 several times as answers which was not the proper response it starts over same question. After 4 or 5 0s it hangs up. I waited to the wee hrs of the morning and called the number. Got a answering service and left a message. To the best of my knowledge it is 'unlawful' in North Carolina to use 'Robo callers' that deliver canned messages. This is the message I left.

I got a call from this number at 2 am!! It was a computer generated message from Farmers Merchant Union Bank, saying my debit card had been deactivated and to press 1 to discuss the matter. I have no connection to this company, and also figured it was a scam, especially at 2 am!

I keep getting these number dialed to me, and it never even rings enough for me to pick it up. I call back to see who it is and its just a bunch of a recorded options. One option said they will remove my number from the list in 24 hours, but I know the scheme i could be removed on THAT list but still exist on another list. Just a nightmare, i can't even speak to a representative to ask what it is going on.

I receive calls from this number on a daily basis. I have called back and followed the prompts to remove my number, I do this every time I receive a phone call. It is followed up the next day by another phone call. I have also canceled my subscription to the Sacramento Bee the the last month. I was able to locate the name and address of the marketing company the Sacramento Bee uses Strategic Marketing Enterprises 5431 E Silver Springs Blvd Silver Springs, FL 34488 (352) 236-2660 this number always goes to a machine. The caller implied an existing business relationship and did not self-identify, this is a form of dishonesty therefore must be predatory business if not an outright scammer.
