I got a missed call from 903-685-7998 on my cell phone on 11/22 at 11:22am PST. I tried to call the number back twice about an hour later and got a recording that said the number was disconnected.

Also collection agencies have a new trick they place collection accounts to your credit files without your knowledge then they send you a collection letter afterwards. The federal trade commission needs to be aware of there sneak & dishonest,illegal ways. They are suppose to send you a collection letter give u a chance to dispute It.

Caller informed me that I qualified for a $7000.00 grant from the Federal Govr, and that I need to call 253-237-1583. I know it is a scam but I am going to follow up and see how they are scamming people like me. I am a former Law Enforcement Officer. Am very careful about these issues. Just interesting that this call should come at the time I am trying to find some type of financial assistance. He stated that I was drawn for this grant. I did not call them for the grant program.

Have received calls from this number daily for the last 2 weeks (even after asking them to stop calling!). Answered a & spoke to a Female telemarketer who claims they are with "Preferred" (an AT&T authorized re-seller) and was letting me know about changes that have already been made to our business phone services that will lower telephone line charges by 30-50% (as if it's already in the works, they just need my approval). After quizzing her on the information they had regarding my "current account" with AT&T, she asked what we were paying for our current phone services. If she had access to my account, wouldn't she know that already? This is when I hung up on her. I guess now we know what people in Vegas do during the daytime hours, just another scam!
