I do not have a Verizon account of any kind yet this morning I received both a text message and a phone call from 888-519-3894 stating that I owe $494.84 on an account ending in 9490. I decided to call the local Verizon store just to check this out. I gave them the phone number and text information. Verizon asked me if I had ever had a Verizon account, to which I said yes but it was a really long time ago, so she checked and said no you don't have an account with us and that this was a SCAM call and text, so don't answer either one and never give them your personal information. I thanked her for confirming all that so I don't have to worry.

I just scream on the phone, as if I am being murdered. Very, very loudly. I also use my whistle when it's nearby. But, it is India calling. They want to swindle you like they have swindled thousands of us already. Huge phone centers in India. Legal American Indians purchase thousands of blocks of phones from Sprint, Verizon, etc. When investigators here tried to interview these Indians they would not answer or they would run away. These men live in very rich areas throughout our country. These call centers in India know a great deal about us and they'll try to get 100 or 1000 from you. Elderly women were crying on TV after being swindled by these criminals. I refuse to purchase any products from India now. But, honestly, get a whistle, or if you are able to, scream as loud as you can into the phone. We're sick, we're tired, and we're not going to take it any longer. Lets hurt their ears scream, blow a whistle, slam 2 metal pots together. Let's fight back people. Very sick, pathetically desperate criminals.

Katie Couric had the special on TV, legal people from India purchase thousands of blocks of numbers from Verizon, Sprint, and others, and give them to call centers in India. Katie sent people to India and you could see hundreds of Indians making .calls inside. A boss came out and they ask if the building was a Call Center. The Indian said in fluent English, "No, this is not a call center." The. .Katie's people tracked down several legal Indians here in the US, they were all living in fabulous neighborhoods. throughout the country, and asked them about the blocks of phone numbers that they had purchased, these men took off, some ran away. I refuse to purchase anything from India now.n they will appear as Winning Price people, Credit Card personnel, and they have lots of info about each of us. Katie also interviewed people who were scammed. Some for just 100, some for thousands. Some elderly were crying. Disgusting criminals.

Actually received a preliminary text telling me that a call would be coming from a 847 number. Pleae answer. Caller left a voicemail saying they were from Verizon and calling about an E-mail I had sent. I don't recall sending an E-mail. I am skeptical!

Harry Wallace of Verizon called on 28.6.12 to confirm the upgrade they wanted was working. I told him how the tech destroyed a Sencore CR-161 CRT tester beyond repair and I wanted it replaced with one in the same condition as the one that was destroyed. He agreed it would be done. The lady that called for the follow-up call the next day took my information about the destruction and said someone would call on 3.7.12 to settle my claim. NO call was made! I expected as much. Obviously Harry let his tech get a thrill for several seconds, figured it was time to move to another thrill, lied to me about getting the piece replaced, assumed that if I was ignored while he was on holiday for a week I would go away and replace the piece at my expense. WRONG! I will take further action and look for another telephone service. NEVER believe anything this liar says or hire him!
