A voicemail was left from this number where the voice mail was automated and began by saying "Hello This is a call about your Wells Fargo AC..." and then the call went silent. The voicemail was 1:37 long with nothing but those first few words as the voicemail.

When I tried calling the number back (I did not use my personal phone), the very garbled recording said that my Wells Fargo account had been compromised and they wanted to reinstate my account. They asked me to type in my social security number. I do not have a Wells Fargo account of any kind. I promptly hung up.

I received a text from an "...@vtext" number saying my Wells Fargo account was at risk and to call this number. An automated person asked for social security number and to verify my16-dig credit card number. Halfway through I realized it was a scam. I verified by calling WF. Horrible.

A text message was sent to inform that your debit card has been limited due to security issue" Then proceeds to ask you to enter your social security number!
