got a text message saying they were bbva compass bank and to call immediately about an important matter. I never had anything to do with this bank so looked number and they are using a tel # out of Broadwing communications from India to scam unspecting people to cooperate with them

I also received a text from "ifsw@verizon.com" staing (Your immediate attention is needed. Please call SunTrust help desk @ 786-228-5950). When you call they ask you to enter your entire social security number to address your account issue. This is a scam, Sun Trust bank does not recognize the number and it is not affiliated with them. Don't do it!
