Ir response to Will's maegsse from July (July 13th, 2006 at 9:59 am): They called again! This time they called from a number that you can actually call back. 1-866-279-7918. It goes to an automated maegsse for a second, then you get that same damn Hindu woman. 866-279-7918 is a Capital One number.The lady I spoke with was clearing up an erroneous fee that Capital One was charging me on an account that I had closed (when I had closed the account, the previous customer service rep. zero'd the balance out but didn't finalize the closure).I'm certain the rep from 866-279-7918 was from Capital One as she knew the exact ammounts and dates of my final two payments, as well as the current erroneous charges (she did not ask for any personal information from me).So once again (for anyone that finds this page thru Google, as I did) (866) 279-7918 is Capital One.

I had been receiving calls from the (866)383-0986 for the past colpue of weeks. I don't answer numbers I don't recogzined, but after calling several times I searched the number through Yahoo. Found this site luckily! I have been anxiously awaiting their call and BINGO- it happened today. First thing out of the Indian man's mouth was Can I have your fax number? What?? No friendly hello? I responded, You are NOT gettin' my fax number. I've looked you up and your nothing but a scam . He told me he wasn't trying to sell anything and he needed the fax number for my website. I told him I didn't care what he was doing, and that he was still a scam artist. He hung up with no goodbye. Just one question my phone number isn't on my website. How did they match up my phone number with my domain name in the first place? Who's fault is this? I'm registered through Godaddy.com. Do they give out this info?
