I received today a telephone message on my home telephone from FBI agent Edward Challenge. He gave his ID 1593. He told me that there is a federal investigation against my name and my physical address (?) and asked to call back on 202-241-4450. He had a heavy accent and it took him several attempts to finally pronounce this phone number. Obviously, this is a scam and I am glad that people reported similar scams.

The agent said my address is under investigation and specifically said my name in the voicemail message. The number to call back on was 202-241-4450. He had a foreign accent but was trying "not to". The message was threatening enough to make someone feel they should call them back, but I know it's a scam and didn't. This is the second time a call like this has come through on my home answering machine.
