The caller left me a message and said to call 253-470-0164. The caller claimed it was the IRS. I called back and the caller with a foregin accent said it was the IRS and that I owed the IRS almost $5,000 dollars. I'm sure it was a scam. My caller ID said a location in Washington state not Washington D.C.

Just my opinion but probably was a ex IRS staffer trying to get more money than they receive in our taxes. Supplement the outrageous income and pension they already get.
