Just got a call from this number. i was on the phone so I called the number back to see who called. the guy who answered had a foreign accent and said "Hello IRS how can I help you". You could tell it was a call center as it sounded like a lot of people 20 or more talking in the background. I just hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.

Calling for fake IRS scams. They gave me a bunk IRS id number and when they discovered I was on to them they hung up.
I proceeded to harass them for the next hour calling them 14 times until they blocked my phone number. I called back from a different number and Marrisa decided to stoop to my level. Honestly, I had a lot of fun with her because she became a very good sport. In case you are wondering she DOES in fact enjoy long walks on the beach but does not drink. I told her that was a bit of a deal breaker for me since I was an alcoholic, just ask my wife lol.
So at this point a guy also got on the line and I told them I had a really good feeling about this, and "you guys have been great, so when I find that number I'll have to call you back. I love you!" and they said "I love you too!" LMAO
So in short, don't answer. It's an IRS Scam.

The call is fraudulent. We suspect they're getting contact info from iRS filed tax liens which are public record. The callers are generally foreign and if you stay on the phone long enough they will instruct you to get a money card to pay them with. Some cases have reported that these callers will call and report a crime in your area before they call you in order to claim that the police car you see on your street is coming after you. IRS DOES NOT ask for money by phone nor do they call you to tell you you're being sued. IRS sends a letter or agents to your home. These calls seem to go in spurts every few months. Hang up, block the caller.

These people have harrassed me before stating they would have law enforcement on my doorstep to arrest me. Left message today stating they are filing lawsuit. I am reporting to every agency which would be appropriate due to other comments referencing hacked computers, phones, and identities. It is unnerving how they have personal information. The middle eastern accents are always present. Could this be a funding source for illegal activities? They clearly don't operate within the boundaries of the law and are criminals. Yet they are calling from "law offices" etc. I think law enforcement should look into this a bit harder. They are obviously successful some of the time if they continue to run the scam.
