The guy was barely English-speaking, claiming to be a something Smith. I only understood a tenth of what he said, but I did get that "if I don't call back, he can only wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me." It put me on defense immediately. I just got this number. This shouldn't be allowed by any debt collector no matter what or if anything is owed. I'd hate for an elder of mine to get a threatening call like that.
