I did receive the same call from 415-234-9585 & said the same things on 10/21/2014. Just remember IRS will send you letter, they never call you.

It was a mechanical voice saying I needed to contact the IRS and gave some other number and failure to respond would result in fines..
HELLO.. the IRS sends letters... they do not call you, unless you called them first and left a message to call. BIG TIME SCAM...

The guy was barely English-speaking, claiming to be a something Smith. I only understood a tenth of what he said, but I did get that "if I don't call back, he can only wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me." It put me on defense immediately. I just got this number. This shouldn't be allowed by any debt collector no matter what or if anything is owed. I'd hate for an elder of mine to get a threatening call like that.

Complete SCAM!!! said he had criminal charges on me and that I needed to send $...hahaha Its a COMPLETE waste of their time calling me because I love to mess with them. They are outside of the US using magic jack to make the phony calls calling Americans and trying to scam $ out of them because they do not know how to work for a paycheck, they only know how to steal...Do not fall for any of it!!!!!
