I had a message on my answering machine from the Dept. of Legal Affairs that I couldn't understand much of what was said because of a heavy foreign accent. The caller said he was Shawn Williams & his phone #323-786-1317. I reluctantly tried calling the # getting a machine asking to leave my # and I'd be called back. I hung up.

She was reading a script, heavily accented, enough that I had to listen to the message twice to get the information. Message on my machine this afternoon, that this was my verbal notice to the mailing I already received regarding the legal action being taken against me. When I called the number back I got an answering machine that said it was the Dept. of Treasury. We too are on the Do Not Call List and do not give our number out, frustrating to have this happen!

Same as other reports. Heavy Indian or such accent "Lisa" (not her given I'm sure) reads a script that she is calling from Legal Affairs about a law enforcement action started against my wife. No point in returning the call; if it were real you would be notified by mail or served anyway.
