When I called these folks back(it was a call with a recording saying they were IRS) I asked to speak with a supervisor, and the guy called me a f*"*"*" b*"CH, then pretended to be the supervisor. I called the federal trade commission 18773824357 they said it was a scam ,so did the FCC. If they call you call FTC and report them.

Caller said I owed the IRS $5,000 and that I had to pay or I would be arrested. The caller even gave me an IRS case number and said that my accounts had been frozen. At the same time I got a call from my supposed local police stating a warrant had been issued for my arrest. IRS said there was no such case number and the police said no had called me and there was no warrant. None of my bank accounts had been frozen although someone did attempt to get cash from my credit card.

Don't believe them. The real IRS doesn't call people. They bury you in mail.
