This is the third call I have recieved in the last two months from three different companies saying the same thing that I am going to be sued and my mom will be sued for a loan I never heard of and never recieved any paperwork on and when I attempted to ask for paperwork they hung up on me. The last time I recieved a call like this my lawyer called them and they hung up on him and they kept hanging up on me what kind of legal office hangs up on people and won't give any paperwork in writing.

THis company called me on a debt my ex-wife took out with a pay-day loan company. The first caller was positively unintelligible, very poor English. I asked to speak with hs supervisor. He transferred me over to "the paralegal," whose name was "Eric Lloyds," but who obviously is not so named. The purpose of the call was to give my ex-wife a message to call him to prevent a lawsuit being filed against her and, oddly enough, me, even though I had not signed any loans documents and even though me and my ex have been separated for five years. It was useless trying to explain all that to "Eric." He kept on repeating how if my ex called it would prevent a lawsuit being filed. I wanted to confirm that they were not intending to sue me. "Eric" was trying to be coy, but was failing even at that. He asked me, "Do you want to be sued?" You get the picture. I called the number he gave me immediately after the call was ended,and have been attempting to get through since. I am constantly getting a busy signal.
I have encountered hustlers before in my life, of course,but if this was a shake down,it was very poor.

Caller made three calls to my cell phone, all within 10 minutes.His message was stating that my daughter had committed fraud and they were going to go against her credit and put it against her SS#. All of this over a debt she supposedly owes. The caller had a heavy accent, a lot of background noise (call center) and spoke rapidly. I tried to call bac, several times, but his voice mail box is full. They can put something against her credit report but that's it. His scare tactic is just that. Don't fall for it.

Caller said that there was a law suit against me for an unpaid online cash advance. The number that was given was not a toll free number and the caller had an accent and could not understand him very well.

This guy named Jeff with an accent and talking very fast, told me that I owed them $500 from a PAYDAY LOAN, that I never took out and that I were going to be sued. Aslo, that I would have to have an attorney if I didn't pay them. I called them back and they hung up on me three times. He wouldn't give me any information on this suppose to be payday loan.
