I know this is a scam but I proceeded to report this caller to Tampa Police Dept although I live in the Philadelphia, Pa area. Do not let this person get any money from you. When I advised him I was going to call the police department, he hung up very quickly. The last laugh will be on us when these scammers are arrested!!!

The guy told us that we had won $350,00 and a new Mercedes Benz and that we had to go to the local Western Union to pick up a claims receipt so that when they came to our house to deliver our "prizes" from Publisher's Clearinghouse all we would have to do was turn over said receipt in order to get our winnings. The call was intended for my mother-in-law who would be 76 had she not passed away a few months ago. But, of course, he said that my husband and I could receive her winnings. When I told him it sounded like a scam he abruptly ended the call.

This is the third call I have recieved in the last two months from three different companies saying the same thing that I am going to be sued and my mom will be sued for a loan I never heard of and never recieved any paperwork on and when I attempted to ask for paperwork they hung up on me. The last time I recieved a call like this my lawyer called them and they hung up on him and they kept hanging up on me what kind of legal office hangs up on people and won't give any paperwork in writing.

Unknown male who read from a script...very threatening...sounded like a "boiler room", lots of other voices speaking...voice accent sounded like Indian...Hack name to bits.

The caller is with Indian accent. Claimed as IRS employee, gave a case number, contact person and this phone number, and also gave his IRS ID and his name when asked. When asked why IRS didn't send a letter, he said the letter was sent but didn't get response, and asked me to call immediately.
