I received an automated call (from a number which is unavailable,) which went to e-mail. It claimed to be the IRS, stating that it was the final notice before a law suit is filed against me and to call 360-205-3728 to get further info.

I received this exact message today. When I called back they said this was a final notice on taxes owed from 2008 to 2013 and that an arrest warrant had been issued due to failure to pay. They wanted to resolve $4000.00 in owed taxes today. I told them I would call the IRS and resolve it with them. They agian said this was a final notice and I would be arrested. They claimed to have contacted me multiple times by phone and mail. I asked them if they sent the letters certified and have my signature stating I received the letters and they hung up on me.

Got my second call today.(First one last week.) Total scam. The IRS website says they will not call to threaten arrest or to collect immediate payments. Please let your elderly family members or friends know about this scam, as they may not think to question the call's validity or to look up the number online.
