Never ever give any identifying information to anyone who cold calls you to tell you they can save you money because of the stimulus or for any other reason!. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch! These people are crooks who pay no attention to do not call lists, after all why should they? They are simply after your name and credit card so they can go on holiday at your expense. The best thing to do is to not answer such calls or, if you do, hang up immediately. When they call on my cell phone I add their number to an entry named IGNORExx so I can see who's calling and ignore them. I hear there are apps for smart phones that will filter ignored calls automatically.
