I avoided answering this unknown number on my (unlisted everywhere) prepaid cell phone to save my money. When I tried calling this number a few moments later from a land line with unlimited long distance, I got the message, "We're sorry, but the number you are dialing has been disconnected or is no longer in service." This happens with most unknown numbers that call my cell phone, whether I answer them at first or not. I suspect they are random-dialing, but they may also be faking the caller ID that shows up.

The robo call says press 1 to lowere credit card interest rates to 6%. Press 1 and some guy starts asking you about your credit card accounts. He quotes you an approximate balance on one of your cards and then wants the card number and the expiration date etc to "activate" you new interest rate....
Sounded fishy to me so I hung up
