Said something about us treasury and a warrant.. This was on my answering machine. I returned the call and a foreign speaking woman started to explain what the call was about. I told her to send me a letter that I dont do phone calls.

LOL I know people fall for this but come on. Even if the number they are calling from was the IRS I have dealt with them and they never threaten jail payment plan once they auduit you in person but not jail unless you just compleatly abuse the system. I tell them every time I know it is a scam and today the lady argued with me that it was real and they where going to have me aresed, ok lets see how that gose. Please let people know about this so we can cut off their funding from ripping people off hopefuly feds will do something but if we dont try and let people know we are just as guilty. Also note the IRS will call but from your state or fed building in your area.

Recieved 2 vm stating that I had legal actions being taken against me and to call back. Called back the number they stated that I was being threatened with legal actions advised that I am not. The man on the phone stated I should have gotten paperwork I told him I didn't. Told me that I have back taxes that needed to be taken care of or can best arrested, I advised to the man a Firm no don't owe shit and he immediately hung up. Be careful of this scam.

I have received a refund 29 out of 30 years LOL and paid what I owed the one and only year.

Received a breaking-up voicemail from "Steve Martin" at 424-294-1728, proporting to be from the US Treasury. Hard to hear, but he is asking me to call him back to avoid some kind of problem with a magistrate judge in a federal court.

I received recording threatening collection/jail time if I didnt respond immediately. They said it was the second call and if I ignored it again, yada yada...
I returned call and it was answered by Eastern accented woman; I told her that I had looked up the number on CallHunter.com, that I knew it was a scam, and that I was calling the police. She hung up on me. I know that the U.S. govt. always contacts you by mail first to initiate any problem-solving, etc. Please remind all this scam is going around AGAIN.
