Caller claimed he was with the US Treasury Department. Name Steve Martin. He said he was coming after me for tax evasion. I laughed because I knew it was a scam. I typed Steve Martin scam into my search engine and there it was! Steve Martin IRS scam. This guys been at it since 2014. That is really sad. After my third call I got this number has been disconnected. surprise?

A man with a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from the Treasury Department called on my cell phone asking for some guy named Brandon. When I told him that there was no one by that name associated with my cell number, he got nasty and told me not to yell at him. Pathetic ba$t**d then found out what it sounded like when I did yell!

Indian accent. Claims to be the US Treasury dept. I told him that I know this scam and please leave me alone. I told him that it's shameful to do this, it's just wrong. He says to me, what am I going to do? They use phone books, they will know your name and address, and phone number. But that's all. They don't have any other info on you. Don't give it to them. Just because they have your name, address and phone number, doesn't mean they are real. They don't have any other pertinent information. DONT GIVE IT TO THEM. The real government will have your info. Good luck, be vigilant, and try to forgive others for their stupidity.
