A caller identifying themselves as the IRS has been calling me for months threatening me. This time they left a number 509 228 3276. I called them and let them have it. This is a scam, the IRS does not call and leave threats and a phone number. Person who answered is not from the US, sounds indian. Very pissed about this BS going on for months if not years.

Robotic call saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. To call them back for account information it's a scam, we would have received a letter and we did nothing wrong!

I am confirming this is a SCAM. Whenever the IRS wants you, they will send a letter and follow-up letters. They certainly don't use robocalling. I wouldn't call the number back; just hung up. They called again and when the answering machine picked up, they hung up. Don't be panicked or intimidated; this is a ruse, a SCAM!

Another scammer again, they pretend they are IRS and file a law suite against me and want me to call certain number......I heard this so many times before. IRS never call tax payee and never threat them with law suite over the phone. They always send mails to communicate with issues. Why? They know where you live and your ss# but not the phone number. Why bother to call with a computer message to threat. Scammer got no new ideas to trick people. Moving on get new line of life to make a living.
