Harassing calls from 707-534-2303. Do not answer. Do not call this number back. The caller Threatens and demands money by imposing as Treasury Officials. TERMINATE YOUR CALL IMMEDIATELY. Do not entertain the thought of speaking with these people or this person. These criminals may have pieces of your identifying information, such as a name or address, which they use to make their attempts appear more authentic. If you are contacted by one of them hang up as soon as you recognize that it is a scam attempt. Just by answering the telephone you have already given the criminal confirmation of your telephone number, your general location, your sex, your appropriate age, and the fact that you are home during the day/evening. If the contacts persist, contact your telephone service provider to have them blocked.
If you have provided any personal information such as banking or credit card please notify your banking institution or credit card issuer for assistance in protecting yourself against identity theft.
If you have already provdied money to one these criminals, you should report the crime to your local police force.
