I received a v.m from Ms. Brown stating that she was from state filing and she had a document without my attorney info. If I didn't respond my case will be for word to my state Dea and 72 hour locator will be put out on me. She never mentioned my name. I don't live in this state. Also I received the same message from another Ms. Brown from a different area code. Beware

These guys called and threatened me this morning, saying I needed to provide a lawyer and call them before they sent a 72 hour find notice on me in my state. Thankfully my niece had the sense to have me look up this phone number and find out they are just thieves trying to get monies from me for a made up fraud. I have never stolen anything in my life so was taken aback by this.. you should be ashamed of yourselves for scamming...

These guys are scam artists. They claim they are J&J Law Group. I spoke to Mrs. Parker and Sarah Stern. They claimed they had an affidavit against me for criminal charges for a loan that I never took out with Cash Central. I called Cash Central and they are aware of the scam that they are running. These jerks should be ashamed of themselves for trying to scam people.

Very similar experience. Two voice mails left for me, of a recording, from a "Ms. Brown" claiming they have a vague and unspecified "state filing" tied to my name and social security number.
They try to threaten with whatever a "72 hour locator" is, as well. Given they do not provide company or agency name and keep it vague as possible, safe to say they are phishing for people to call them and then try to wheedle more personal and/or financial information out of the caller.
