Very similar experience. Two voice mails left for me, of a recording, from a "Ms. Brown" claiming they have a vague and unspecified "state filing" tied to my name and social security number.
They try to threaten with whatever a "72 hour locator" is, as well. Given they do not provide company or agency name and keep it vague as possible, safe to say they are phishing for people to call them and then try to wheedle more personal and/or financial information out of the caller.

I received a v.m from Ms. Brown stating that she was from state filing and she had a document without my attorney info. If I didn't respond my case will be for word to my state Dea and 72 hour locator will be put out on me. She never mentioned my name. I don't live in this state. Also I received the same message from another Ms. Brown from a different area code. Beware

I owe 167.00 on Cover Me Cash - I offered yesterday to pay 60 and make arrangements. She was rude, now they are calling relatives in Florida saying that the DA is looking for me.

Called and left a long speiel about needing to talk to my husband, at the end of her monologue, she finally said "this is an attempt to collect a debt" however, no company name was ever given. The call said "local" call on our answsering machine, but the number showed a 909 prefix. We do not answer our phone, unless we recognize the number. We have no intention in calling this number back.
