I just received a phone call from this number – my Caller ID said JOHN. The caller had a very thick India Indian accent and asked for Stephanie (I have had this number for almost 20 years and no Stephanie has ever lived here). I asked him several times for the company he works for and he finally said “Yahoo / Microsoft.com Services”. I also asked him twice for his name and a valid call-back number but he continued to ask to speak with Stephanie. I told him twice to remove my number from his call lists but he just said that he would call back later and then abruptly hung up. What a jerk!!!

I believe that at least two different cyber crooks got into my computer or perhaps they were worming together. From my personal experience, I can relate that they first send some sort of virus computer virus program that weakens your computer. Slows it down, doesn't respond properly and keeps freezing up.They changed the settings often and also disabled my Malwarebytes anti scumware program. My Avast anti virus found this: Win32:BProtect-D Trojan Horse.

A man with a heavy accent (sounded like he was from India) called my mother and told her that her computer was infected with a virus and it was urgent she have them "clean" it for her. When my mother responded she did not have a computer, the man asked why she was lying to him. When she asked why he called her a liar since she knew whether or not she had a computer, he began to berate her. When I called the number back for her, all you get is a recorded message thanking you for calling back and to remove your name from their list, press "1". From what I know of Cretans like this, nothing you can do will stop these blood sucking scammers from doing this.

A live person who I could not understand at first told me my computer is sending Microsoft errors out globally. Asked me to log into my computer and he would provide me with link to correct the issue. I told them I also worked for Microsoft and they hung up right away and I have not heard from them since.

My answering machine picked up. Caller had a heavy accent (Indian?) and could not pronounce my name. Obviously a robo call since he did not realize he was talking to answering machine when he first started talking.

It is apparently a robocall and then when you answer the phone, there is no response. This has happened at least a dozen times.

They would not even answer when I spoke on the phone my mother use to get these calls and they are total scams. And are rotten to the core.
