Second time this has happened now! First time they said I owe money to a payday loan place. Called me hundreds of times, and every extension at my work hundreds of times. I asked them to call me, not my work. They responded that they will call my work until i get fired, or i pay them! Reported them to local police and phone company. Will be doing the same with this situation. Said my account is going to the courts. Heavy middle eastern accent. Asked me how much money i make! Said I owe money to Cash Net. Told him I've never done any business with Cash Net. He then told me Cash Net has hundreds of lenders they use and I have an account with one of them. I asked which one and he couldn't tell me. This is rediculous that these people are able to keep doing this. Why are they not arrested????? Please do something about this!!

On 4/9/2012, I received a voicemail message from someone claiming to be named John Smith. I could not understand the voicemail because the guy apparently didn't speak English very well. I did understand that he said that the information was time sensitive and that I needed to get into contact with him immediately and something about retaining an attorney. I tried calling the number back to find out what this was all about but the call would not go thru. it kept hanging up after 1 ring. I then called from a landline phone and was able to reach another guy claming to be named David Cooper with some firm having to do with the Federal government. He then read off to me some "affidavit" indicating that Federal criminal charges were brought against me in connection to Payday Loan fraud. That a payday loan was applied for online with my email address and the funds were deposited into PNC bank account but when they trued to electronically debit the payment from my account, the funds weren't there. I advised him that I had not received any funds whatsoever from any payday loan. I asked him when this supposedly occurred an he stated they tried to do the elctronic debit from my account on 2/20/12. I again stated that no such transaction has ever taken place and who they claim to have as my employer where they are supposedly sending the sherrifs to is outdated. Mr Cooper stated that I will be arrested as of 1:30 pm today and if I dispute the charges, I can take it up with the sherrif when they come to get me then he hung up on me.

The same message and MO that I've been dealing with for over a year from different numbers across the US. Usually phone numbers are from NY or CA and the person calling sounds the same. A thick accent, somewhat difficult to understand, and using basic names. Threatening to sue me, that I owe money which I don't owe, stating police will be involved if I don't do something right away, etc...

This guy made many harrassing phone calls to me today at my job, which interfered with my work and the work of my co-workers. He was foreign sounding and very rude and I could hardly understand everything he was saying. He told my Boss lady that I had performed illegal acts and stole some money, leaving me pretty disturbed. His number was 315-538-9905. He also said something about giving me 4 or 5 days to call him back and give him my information and that he needed my social security number so he could help me with this matter. He really didn't even make sense. I sure hope someone catches him soon, and lets myself and others know about it.

This is a scam! I have worked in the collections field for 13 years, and the things this man was saying to me are totally illegal. This is the second call (from a different number) and both times they told me that there was going to be a law suite filed in federal court as a result of "this matter". The first time I was freaked out, and so I asked what it was for, and did not realize tight away that the call was a scam. The man went on to tell me that I had received a cash advance and that I did not pay it back. I have NEVER received a cash advance so I was even more worried. Once I began to ask when the cash advance was paid he would not tell me saying that he would give me that information when he saw me in court. That it totally illegal. If asked, a collection agency, or an attorney's office is required to provide that information. So when I "called him out" so to speak, he hung up the phone on me. When I tried to call him back I got a recording stating that all circuits were busy, and I was never able to call that number and actually have it ring again. Today I got a call from the same man from a blocked number, but this time he left me a message. When I called the number back, he tried to say the same things, so this time, I acted like I was going to pay him the money, and asked how much I owed, how long I had to pay, and how to make payment. He advised me that there would be a filing in the court tomorrow at 10am and that the only way that I could make payment was through paypal. There is not a collection agency, or attorney's office in the US (that is legitamate) that offers this method of payment. So when I again called him out and told him that I knew his company was a fraud, he began speaking in another language and he hung up the phone. I again tried to call the number back, and got the same message, that all circuits were busy. When I first called both times, they tried to get me to verify my address, social security number, and even my maiden name and email address, which thankfully I did not do!!! Do not give these people any information, they are trying to steal money. They told me that I owed them 1200.00! Please block them from calling you, although it may not do any good, as they obviously have several numbers they may be able to call you from!

Threatening message about me or my lawyer contacting them its a time sensitive matter and if no one contacts him he stated the best he could do for me was wish me good luck. Also he has been calling my place of employement harressing whoever answers the phone. I wish for this to stop and I know that I have not done anything federal for anyone to be harressing me. it's a company depending that they are in court, and you have a payday loan out. They want your credit card number to pay the amount in full.

Called the number using *67 (so they could not see where the call was comming from) and spoke to "John Smith". I called him out on his think accent saying there is no way a person named John Smith has an accent like that and that he sounds middle eastern to me. It wasn't until I told him I was going to call the FBI unless he come clean, that he admitted to be calling from the middle east and this is in fact a scam. I can't believe I broke him down enough to admitt to trying to rip off hard working americans. I did call the FBI, but they said there is little they could do to stop these guys.

UGHHHH I go this call too, it sucks, they call me now every month, with deep Indian accents, and threatning jail and prosecution if I do not pay by 11am. luckily the first time they did this, and I just about fell for it and faxed a letter to them, I called a attorney hotline and they informed me it was a scam to not worry, so I am not worried anymore just extremely tired of these people calling, just got a call right now, 315-294-9454 but tried to call to tell them a piece of my mind but number doesnt even work and they just called me. This person called me yesterday about 20 times at home and on my cell phone. I have spoken to them several times before this (several months ago and alomost a year ago) denying that I owe them anything and that I had never taken out the payday loan they are calling about. They keep calling. But they never follow through with their lawsuit because this is a scam. They try to hide their number by using a local number in my area thinking that I will pick up when they call. They always call when I am at work. Thank gos for call id and answering machines. I want them to stop calling and I think I should get some money for the harassment I have had to endure over the past year

This low- life scumbag called my job on my day off saying he needed to speak with me about a case. They called me from work & gave me this message. When I called the number back William Turner answered & said John Smith was busy. I informed him that my attorney wanted to speak with John Smith but he said John got fired today. I called again for the heck of it and John Smith answered. Lol. I wish the bumbs would mount their camels and ride non stop back to India...
