I just received a call from 866-837-8515. It was an automated system calling from Check Systems telling me to press one. so I did and it just hung up so I called them back. I told them I had just received a call from this number. He looked my number up cause they have caller id. He asked if I knew "brother's name" I told him yes that is my brother. He then told me about some bad checks and blah, blah, blah. I cut him off and told him I do not have a relationship with brother and his bad debt has nothing to do with me and to not call me again. He proceeded to talk over me telling me, "yes it does involve you because brother used you as a reference". This is not the first time this has happened and I am sure it won't be the last. I had fun with the other company that tried harassing me for my brother's debt. They were over seas and had an exchange in Carolina so I kept calling them back on their dime and harassing them. After three days they left me alone. Let us see if this company has the balls to continue to harass me... I am a paralegal and work for a law firm. I know the law.
