Caller claimed to be calling from Windows Technical Dept. I was entirely sure this was a scam. Seeing as how he wanted to gain remote access to my computer while there is nothing legitimately wrong with it.

I just had the same call from that number they are trying to gain access to computers by saying windows is sending them an error message and they can fix it. Don't fall for it. This is a scam big time. When I questioned them they said they were in Texas but this is a number from the COUNTRY of Georgia. Beware.
