BROKEN INDIAN ACCENT keeps calling my cell phone which I don't give out...tells me that there are problems with my computer and virus on my computer....I told him to let me get to my computer (which I was in front of) hold on...I googled the phone number and saw the complaints - told him what I did..he grunted & hung up...COMPLETE FRAUD..DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!! Next time...he will hear words he has never heard of before that will make him run down the street screaming!! Can't wait:)

Scam call from Windows wanting access to my computer to "fix a problem". Just like those scam calls from the IRS. Don't give them any information or access to your computer. You would call Windows if you had a problem...they don't call you unless you arranged for someone to call you back. The IRS would send you a letter if you owed them money...they don't call you.

Receiving repeated calls from this number - they are computer scammers who sound by their accents are probably in India and are using the 917 number as bogus for cover. Message to law enforcement and telecoms companies: hunt down and prosecute the perpetrators, and shut down these call centres.

Scammer. Wants to fix my computer because it has been hacked. Identifies himself as working for windows... Told him I was busy he asked for his number to call back, but he called me back in 10 min. My caller ID shows up as Private number.
Just hang up the phone and let Jack know that you know he is a Scammer!
Don't be fooled by these calls. Verify, verify if not sure. Google the phone number.
And never give any personal information over the phone or give
Access yo your computer.

called once and I answered it, was Jack from India, he was calling about Windows, but I told him we used Apple, didnt have Windows, and he was persistent, wanted someone else, and I was having trouble understanding him, told not to call anymore and hung up. They have called several times now, we dont answer, and a new number today on the ID, 985-625-4516..I looked it up, and it indicated it was Windows etc...

Got a call at 630am, saying they were with technical services. He said there is a problem with your computer. I told him you have the wrong number. He said "No it is your number", I then asked which computer company are you with. He said "Windows". I then asked "Microsoft?" He hung up. This sounds like a total scam.

I received a call yesterday (6-4-15) @ 4:43pm from this 203 number- he was NOT American accent and told me that he was from Windows and that they monitored someone from outside the United States trying to access my computer at home. I didn't believe him one bit- so i asked where he was calling from- he said Florida. I repeatedly asked him who he was with and he kept saying Windows and he could help me stop whoever was trying to access my computer. I still questioned him and even asked how he got my phone number. No answer to that question. I told him I was at work and couldn't access my home computer. He said he closes at 5:00 anyway and would call me back today... Yea right... Im not answering the call. BTW- I traced the area code & #- it is NOT Florida- it is in Connecticut.

I don't usually answer unknown numbers but I did-caller Id said New York and the guy said he was calling from Windows on my computer. I told him this was a scam and he said it's not a scam and I just hung up after telling him not to call this number again.
