Comcast totally blew an install appointment I had yesterday and I am furious at them. If the call I just got was their attempt to follow up, then their caller ID should read Comcast and not the generic 800 Service and I would have answered it. Cowards.

"800 Service." I always let calls from unknowns go to voice mail, but I'm expecting a call from a repair service w/an 800#, so I answered only to get hung up on. Damn these robocalling dirtbags! I long ago used up all the blocked numbers allowed by my phone system and my service provider. Have to keep rotating the bad number list.

If it is Aetna then why doesn't the caller id say Aetna? = 866-781-3989 = caller id = 800 Service = well, if this is from a legitimate company then why don't they leave a message? Too much trouble? Then why does every company make you go through a lengthy robot assisted entry requiring all sorts of personal information and then you have to start over when you actually get a human on the line? ugh...if this was legitimate then they would at the very minimum leave a message and/or call back number...when they do that then I will answer, otherwise this is just another blocked call for me....

Got a call from 206-397-5092 on July 17, 2010 at 10:17 am. Dead air. No response after several seconds. Hung up. Caller ID listed the number as above, with the name "800 Service". I filed complaints with the FCC and the Federal Do Not Call Registry. Call back to the number did not identify a company or name, but instead made vague references to 'preferred marketing services" and suggested that I press '1' to be removed. I did, but past experience has taught me that this never works.
