Seriously, calling with the caller ID identity of "ALERT" - that's what it said!
Picked up, nothing but silence. Probably would have been another one of those ANNOYING recorded calls where you can't even tell them to take you off their bleeping call list(s).
Tired of these calls - what gives ppl the right to constantly bother you via a paid, private phone number - well, used to be private, anyway.
Does anyone have so much as an iota of consideration for people? The word, all caps, "ALERT" is startling. I want my privacy back!!!

I have repeatedly told these people not to call me.This has been going on for over 2 months now. 9AM on Monday mornings etc.
I finally last week got a hold of a so called representative to tell him I had asked repeatedly take us off your list.
He became very rude raised his voice and got obstinate with me on the phone saying, " You have to listen to what I want to tell you before you can be removed from our list!
I told him that is illegal. You cannot force me to listen to you!
He started in with his spiel and then I interrupted him and he started again saying no you have to listen and I said NO YOU ARE ILLEGAL I DO NOT!
He then said with a snide remark and laughing.... "Oh no you are not getting taken off of our list and hung up." I called the phone company they tried to block it but to no avail.
They have now called us another 4 times from another number. .
I was not at home when they called.
It is a tape that say we have news for all senior citizens. You can receive $3000 in coupons and a free life alert bracelet that can save your life. Etc. etc..

I blocked this one now they are calling from ALERT 516-370-4161.
How do I stop these calls?
