Alex Furguson

I received a call from (my display read) "Toledo, OH". I clicked and said nothing, a male voice with an Indian-type of accent began a spiel about the IRS, taxes, etc. and indicated that I should cooperate and to call 567-263-0027. He ended by saying that "I advise you to cooperate with us and to help us to help you". I did not hang up and the same message was repeated about 3-4 times before it hung up on its own accord. I have heard this before at least a year or so ago and know that it's a crock of crap with someone trying to intimidate innocent people into giving them money. The IRS doesn't operate that way as they will send you a notice in writing not make a phone call. If you receive a call like this, don't call them back...it's a scam.

Indian guy named Alex Ferguson calling from the department of treasury. Don't listen thgis guy is fake and trying to get personal information.
