I received about 20 calls from this number within about 10 minutes, and when you answered, they would hang up. When I called back, they claimed they were with AEG law group and had a summons for me. I asked for their website and was told it was currently experiencing technical problems, and the caller would not tell me what the summons was for. After asking a few more questions, the caller stated it must have been a wrong number. I said to never call me again or I would report them to the police, which they said they would remove my number. I received 3 more phone calls about an hour later, and this time they wouldn't tell me the company name and just stated they were calling regarding a summons for me. Do not fall for this scam, tell them not to call you again, and hang up.”

Credit card scam, pressed 1. "Bob" came on line. Asked politely to have my number removed please. He said it was not possible and what was I willing to do to have it removed, nothing was free in this world. Told him that I would not do anything, that I just wanted him to remove my number. He then said would you lick my lollipop for my and that is when I hung up the phone. These people have GOT to be stopped. Last time on one of these calls I was called a B***h, Dumb A**. There has got to be some what to find out who these people are and stop them.

HE GAVE ME HIS BADGE NUMBER BUT I ASKED FOR HIM TO SPEAK LOWDER AND REPEAT HIS BADGE # BUT HE REFUSED BEING I TOLD HIM MY HUSBAND WORKED FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT DEPT. HE HUNG UP

A man with an Indian accent pretended to be a representative of my computer antivirus company, whose policy is to never contact the customer. So I knew it was a scam. They're trying very hard to get my IP address because they've called from several different numbers. But they're always people with an Indian accent. They know some information about my purchase so they've hacked into something and they always know my name. In addition they always give very common American names like Steve or Jack. This time he said his name was Bob. So sick of them calling I contacted my phone company and found out how to block their calls. Only problem is they call from different numbers.

This company NCO is a debt collection agency. They keep calling my place of employment. I have asked this man Bob who is the same person that calls every time to stop calling my place of employment. He still keeps calling. My advice to you is to record all conversations with this company. They use illegeal means to collect the debt that you owe. This way you can take them to court and sue them.

I did a callback, was put on hold for a few minutes then: I was told the number is legit, calling me about a mortgage I never had although my bank IS Chase.
His explanation was "someone with a debt has the same name as you" that's unlikely.
